Veterinarian and Owner, Dr. Jeffrey A. Baranack, possesses nearly four decades of veterinary experience, bringing a unique blend of seasoned professionalism and heartfelt care to every patient he sees. His long-standing commitment to both pets and their people has earned him a reputation for trusted, compassionate service.

Dr. Baranack began his academic journey studying Animal Science, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Kent State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He went on to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating top in his class in 1989 with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

He purchased West Side Animal Hospital in 2012 after almost two decades serving the Tuscarawas County area with many of his original clients still making the drive to Alliance.

Dr. Baranack currently lives in New Philadelphia, Ohio and commutes daily to Alliance alongside his wife, Tiffany, and their 7 children: Bridget, Lorelei, Elliott, Coralie, Scarlet, Rosalie & Violett. Their evenings are spent in Akron at swim practices, and weekends are often filled with meets across the region.

At home, Dr. Baranack cares for a lively crew of animals:
🐾 6 Dogs: 3 Great Danes (Fibi, Fiona, Fabio) and 3 Miniature Dachshunds (Archie, Millie, Lilly)
🐾 5 cats: George, Theodore, Harry, Henry & Daphne.

In his free time, Dr. Baranack is an avid sports fan and a proud supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Go Bucks! 🏈
